The power of faith!

Hello friends,

My encouragement today comes from the book of Matthew 15:28 which says: O woman, great is your faith, be it unto you as you will”. Notice that until Jesus remarked that great was her faith, it could not be as she willed. If she had great faith, you can have great faith too. Great faith is the highest of all faith we read in scripture. We read of no faith, little faith, strong faith, then great faith. Of all of these, the only one that amazes Jesus is great faith. Looking carefully at this scripture, we see plainly what great faith is. It is nothing else but perseverance, not giving up, telling God that He is our only way out. We see this great faith in Ruth who refused to let her mother in law Naomi go back by herself, we see in Jacob wrestling with the angel of God  all night and saying i will not let you go until you bless me. Scripture has plenty of examples to encourage us about great  faith. If you will arrive to this kind of faith, then it will be as you will, because His will becomes your will. You have gone through the process of proving to God that He is your only way out. You did it as you moved from no faith to little faith to strong faith to great faith. Elijah the prophet is a good example of a person who had arrived to such a place. In 1 Kings 17:1 He declared that there would be no dew or rain except according to his word. Not God’s word but his word. And it happened as Elijah said. God trusted him so much that what he said God honored it. In the next article we will look at how to build ourselves to this kind of faith. I want to hear Jesus say: O Pitana, great is thy faith, how about you? Father, we want to amaze you by our faith and be pleasing children of yours. Help us and teach us and bring us to that place of great faith I pray in the name of your son Jesus. Amen.
